Grassland Gallery: Film & Art Inspired by the Range is a celebration of Nebraska’s grasslands, Stories, and communities. This FREE event is a multidisciplinary event that brings together film, visual art, and place-based experiences to celebrate the agriculture, landscapes, and people of Nebraska’s grasslands. Rooted in rural stories and shaped by the land itself, Grassland Gallery creates space for connection, learning, and creative exchange.
Notice:
After careful consideration, our planning team determined that we would not be able to bring this event together in a way that meets the standard we want for our artists, filmmakers, and host community. We felt it was the right call to cancel rather than move forward with an event that wouldn't fully deliver on what we promised you.
We know this is disappointing, especially if you have already made plans to attend, and we're genuinely sorry for the inconvenience. Please know this decision reflects challenges on our end in pulling the event together — not anything about the quality of your work or Haythorn Land and Cattle’s commitment to this event..
We're proud of what the mini-event at the Nebraska Grazing Conference accomplished this past August, and we remain committed to Grassland Gallery's mission of celebrating Nebraska's grasslands through art and story. We're already looking at how to bring a stronger, better-supported event to the Sandhills in the future, and we'd love to keep you in mind for that when the time comes.
